Project process
Chenpi's traditional properties have been praised in Asia for thousands of years. Yet, due to its often price often hitting upwards of tens of thousands of dollars and lack of proper education most of the world never heard of it. Nonetheless, I saw high adoption in many wellness circles in LA & NYC. Realizing the demand in the local wellness circle especially amongst the pilates, zen, yoga, and meditation communities it was evident such a food had demand. Talking to the world's premier Chenpi growers, we decided to try selling it as a snack.
Final result
In our first year we did over 7 figures in ARR, without any marketing. Became an Amazon Choice product and was stocked in over 200+ stores including Costco, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Krogers, 7-11, Albertsons, Carrefour, Aldi/Lidl, Walmart, Acme, 99 Ranch Market, H-MartJagalchi, 168 Market, TS Emporium.
